To Send Gifts
Platform Fee: Gift givers pay a small flat $5 service fee on each gift. Instead of charging a percentage of the gift amount, our Platform Fee doesn’t change regardless of how much you give.
Payment Processing Fees: We offer three ways to send a gift: bank transfer, debit card and credit card. Bank transfers are free – all you pay is the $5 service fee. Credit and debit card payments come with a standard processing fee – 3.0% for credit cards, and 2.5% for debit cards. The total fee is displayed at checkout.

Receiving gifts on Birdie is 100% free. It’s your money, you should be able to keep all of it.
